During the election the health and safety of all participants in the electoral process is of paramount importance. We will be adding additional measures to ensure the safety of electors and workers. Each voting station will be equipped with the following:
- Hand sanitizer upon entering each station
- Only one election worker per desk behind a plexi-barrier
- Each worker will be supplied with personal protective equipment
- On site cleaner to clean touch point areas, secrecy sleeves and voting booths
- Pens will be distributed to each elector as you enter. Each pen is individually wrapped in plastic for your use only and to take home.
- The layout of the voting room will allow for physical distancing with one-way flow of traffic and separate entrance/exits where possible.
